I would very much like to go on the walks with peaktrekkers despite suffering from chronic bronchitis.
I feel a walk described as hard will be beyond me.
I am hoping that the walks described as relatively easy walks, a moderate walk- I will be able to manage although these will be challenging for me!
I would like to know what Daz and the people who have been on walks with me think?

Ann I would say that the relatively easy walks are about the same difficulty as the POF walks. The Mam Tor walk was about the hardest done on POF and there would be nothing harder than that. The moderate ones have more ascent and descent and the hard ones have tough ascents and descents. Its all realtive, thats why we reccie the walks first. The one we did on Sunday to Lathkill Dale would have been easy and the one this sunday walk the edges I would describe as moderate. Hope this helps.

the amber gate walk is relatively easy red, as is the manifold and thors cave. Dovestones will be because it's around water.
I'll be doing a walk around clumber soon but that may be too far for you to get to.I'll post it on the ukwalkingforum when I do as its not peak district.

Hi Ann I reccied the Chrich Amgergate walk today and you would find it OK. Some ascent but not too steep. I havent reccied the Dovestones one yet but it isnt a normal resevoir walk as Chew Resvoir is 1600ft above sea level so there would be a fair amount of ascent. I will find out how difficult it is soon. If I were you I would definitely not do any described as hard as they get my pulse racing. So I would say any marked as easy you could do. Any marked as moderate look at the details and decide. Avoid the ones marked hard. Hope this helps.
